Tom shares openly how it feels to come out and explains how he came to identify as gay. We discuss relationships, gay bars, the LGBTQ+ community, adoption, allyship and discrimination.

I wanted to have a conversation that would better enable me to understand what it's like to be gay in 2019 – and I hope this video will enable people of all sexual orientations to better empathise with the experience of being gay. Tom openly talks about his struggles with coming out, and explains how to come out. He shares his thoughts on discrimination, the LGBTQ+ community and what non-LGBTQ+ people can do to become effective ALLIES.
